Upcoming Races:

2019 season race dates will be released soon. Please mark your calendars for the 2019 EYC Open taking place on August 24th – 25th 2019.

Please see below for our 2018 results and races

Past Races:

Pumpkin Spice Regatta – September 30th, 2018 – No Race

With the frostbite series drawing close to an end and the days becoming shorter, this regatta is an end of season celebration with a chance for racers to participate in course racing, or a round the marks race for those who prefer more relaxed sailing. Come out and join us for a fun day on the water!

Night Race – Revised Date September 7th, 2018Results

This is the last of our weekend coastal races and takes place at dusk. This is a great race if you’re a cruiser looking to go out for a sunset sail and try to overtake a few boats in the process.

Double Handed Race– August 11, 2018Results

The second of our shorthanded coastal races to Toronto Island and back. This is another advanced, but fun race where only the skipper and one crew member are permitted onboard during the race. Again, safety is paramount in our shorthanded series. Please read the sailing instructions, know your limits, and ensure the safety of you and your crew

EYC Next Generation Regatta– August 11, 2018

If you are an alumnus of our Junior Sailing Program, register to race in our Next Generation Regatta. This is a short one day One Design regatta sailed in the C&C 27 Mk V and is a great venture for Junior Sail alumni into the world of keelboat racing.

EYC Participates in the AHMEN Weekend Series. Their 2018 Schedule is available here.

EYC Open – August 25-26, 2018  – Regatta Site

Celebrate 50 years with us at our EYC Open Regatta, PHRF, IRC and One Design Racing take place all weekend with Regatta Festivities  . The Open is this year’s home of the 8 Metre North American Championships.

Single Handed Race – July 7, 2018Results

The first of our shorthanded coastal races to Toronto Island and back. If you know your boat inside and out, this is a great opportunity to test your skills. Only the skipper is permitted on the vessel for this race. Safety is paramount in our shorthanded series, so please read the sailing instructions, know your limits, and stay safe!

The Puffin Cup (EYC 50 Island Race) – June 3, 2018Results

The Puffin Cup Race is a friendly competition between Mimico Cruising Club and Etobicoke Yacht Club. The Puffin Cup is awarded each year to the winner of this pursuit style race to Toronto Island and back. EYC entrants in this race will also be competing for the EYC 50th Anniversary Island Race title. A pursuit style race means a less crowded starting area. If you’re new to the sport, this is a great opportunity to test out the waters without diving in to a busy starting area.
