Dry Sail Membership


Dry Sail Keel Membership

  • Must join EYC as a Senior Member, and pay applicable initiation fee.

 Member privileges include:

  • Full use of club facilities.
  • Participate in all club activities and social events.
  • Voting right at AGM or at a Meetings of the Membership.
  • Entitled to hold office.
  • Spouse and children under 18 years old have full use of the Club’s facilities.
  • Share in any distribution of Club assets.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years old.
  • 30 work hours per year.
  • Senior members are required to pay an initiation fee, plus purchase a non-interest bearing club debenture.
  • Only senior members are allowed to bring a keel boat into the Club.
  • All debentures are redeemable after a member resigns from the Club.
  • All Dry Sail keel boats must be stored ashore on road trailers.  Boat storage fee will apply.
  • Approved members must use the authorized crane for launch and recovery.

Dry Sail Dinghy/Multi-Hull Membership

Member privileges include:

  • Full use of club facilities.
  • Participate in all club activities and social events.
  • May apply for boat storage space.  Fee will be charged.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years old.
  • Does not pay initiation fees or purchase debentures, but are required to provide a refundable security deposit.
  • 30 work hours per year / or as determined by the Board.

2017 Fees:

Drysail Membership $675.00/yr

 Boat storage fees

Keel boat storage $367.00/yr
Large dinghies & cats 16 to 21 feet $232.00/yr
Small dinghies & cats 8 to 15 feet $174.00/yr
Dinghies stored on a multi-boat rack, or Optimist / Mosquito prams up to 7 ft $90.00/yr

Security Deposit (No initiation fee or debentures)

Refundable security deposit $500.00

 


 Intermediate Membership

  • Must be at least 18 but under 26 years old.
  • May bring a dry sail – keel or dry sail-dinghy to the Club.  Same requirements as Dry Sail Membership noted above applies.
  • Once member turns 26 years old, they must apply to transfer their membership category or resign from the club.

2017 Fees:

Annual dues (ages 18 to 22)  $219.00/yr

Annual dues (ages 23 to 25)  $337.00/yr


 Junior Membership

  • Under 18 years old.
  • May bring a dry sail – keel or dry sail-dinghy to the Club.  Same fee and process requirements as Dry Sail Membership noted above applies.
  • Work hours required as determined by the Board.

2017 Fees:

Annual dues  $145.00/yr

All amounts are subject to 13% HST.


All Fees have been approved for fiscal 2017 and may be subject to change in subsequent years.
