Duty Skippers

The EYC Racing program depends on registered racers to assist at least once per season on the Charles McKeon. A skipper must bring at least one (preferably two or three) crew member(s) with them to assist with recording times and results onboard the committee boat.

Skippers drafted for Race Committee duty will be assigned points for that race equal to their average points for the races in that series in which they started, after throw outs are applied. If the race is canceled or abandoned, the drafted crew will not receive a score. The drafted skipper and crew may be released from duty at the sole discretion of the RO. If released from duty, the skipper and crew may race, and will be scored based upon their finish. If they elect not to race they shall be scored with average points as above.
